- Other Group Promos
The reason for no sales posts are because many scammers and bots pick up on these, and sometimes people unfortunately fall for them. We don’t want to be held responsible. So, decline with feedback and then check Rule 2: "Buying/Selling"
Promos/Advertising
Advertisements are allowed, but they must first reach out to me and pay to advertise. If you see a pending advertisement, leave it or message me to ask if they've contacted me about it. If they haven't, decline it with feedback, then check Rule 3: "Advertising" You can also add a note that says, "Contact Admin"
Duplicate posts
We try not to spam the group with the same content, so if you see a pending post that has already been posted recently by another member, decline it with feedback and check Box 5: "Why was my post declined?"
"Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself and share a photo that I took"
These are real people; it's a default prompt shown to new members to encourage them to post. These are fine to be approved. Just wanted to clarify, since a lot of people think they are fake/bots.
Pending Requests
Please read over this carefully, it's important.
Process for approving new members
You must preview all comments before approving anyone into the group.
Requests with emails
Do not approve any requests where they include their email. I have to do this myself on my computer in order to collect the email and add it to our mailing list, so please leave these for me.
Bot accounts
Bots are a huge and ever-growing problem in the group, and this applies to any group. Some of the easiest ways to weed out these accounts are if you see a comment like any of the following:
- "Message me if still searching"
- "Checkout spare parts for sale"
- "Do you still need this?"
- "pm me if still searching"
- "inbox me if still searching"
- "got it already?"
- "have got one available where you at"
- "DM me for dope artwork"
- "want this as a cartoon? DM me"
If you see any of the following, ban these accounts, as well as comments from profiles with pictures of half-naked women. These will usually be in the form of a selfie or telling the user to DM them. Fake art accounts will say "DM me for dope illustrations," have "toon" in their name, or ask someone if they want a cartoon. We actually offer this service through Moto Minis, and it's legit.
Didn't answer member questions
If they didn’t answer at least one member question, you can decline them, unless they have a riding profile picture or something similar that makes them appear to be a real account, or if it shows they have friends in the group.
